So I was jogging the other day and who should I end up running next to? None other than It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’s Sandy Martin. The initial awkward reverence quickly turned to a steamy competition as she spit on my arm and changed her running speed to sprint.
I wasn’t going to be upped by the actress (who plays Mac’s mom on the show) and if she wanted a race she was going to get a race. Being that she is 73 years my senior my youthful athleticism eventually gave me an edge.
After I passed her I didn’t look back. I just kept on running and running. As fast as I could. With my lungs burning I made it back to the parking lot. I looked behind me…no one in sight.
I confidently pulled out my car keys to grab my Tiger Focus Gatorade for a victory drink but quickly I realized…I had no car. It was gone! After about 5 minutes of searching it finally hit me. I had won the battle…but Sandy Martin had won the war.
